"Shoots & Ladders", Way to Die #79, is the fourth death to be featured in "Eat, Pray, Die", which aired on August 8, 2011.
Ralph wanted to watch the reruns of The A-Team (1983-1987) on television. He had his book of rules. A dog was barking and it kept him from watching his show. After failing to tell his neighbour to silence her dog, he fetches a slingshot and takes the dog down, but on 1000 Ways to Die (according to the announcer), the producers also have their own book of rules. One of them states clearly that if anyone like Ralph messes with one of God's creatures, he had to suffer his consequences, because when he went to put the slingshot back, a screw fell off the ladder and he falls to death, causing brain damage in the process.
"Ralph was a loser who thought a long-cancelled TV show was important. But he broke one of our rules... and paid with his life. (Mr. T's voice) Don't pity this fool."
- A fall from an eight-foot ladder won't kill you, you'll just suffer a minor concussion.
- The last line in the doggerel quote was a derivation of Mr. T's catch phrase "I Pity the Fool" from the 1982 film Rocky III.
