"African't", Way to Die #794, is the first death to be featured in "Dying to Tell the Story", which aired on December 29, 2010.
Herb and Miranda are spoiled trust funders on an African safari. They haven't seen any animals. And the more their tour guide couldn't find any, the more frustrated the siblings get (Herb was the most arrogant). Having had enough, they decided to abandon their tour guide and find the animals themselves.
3 1/2 hours later, the siblings were predictably and dangerously lost. The 118-degree heat was taking its toll on them. The siblings were feeling the fatigue of accelerated dehydration. When they found a shade under a tree, they passed out.
Hours later, Miranda woke up to discover that a colony of driver ants had eaten Herb alive from the inside-out. Miranda was spared because the perfume she was wore has decenyl tricycle allyl ether (which repels insects), and she runs screaming in the wild.
"Getting five million dollars out of your bank account and you get to act like world-class brats, getting five million ants down your throat that means you are dead."
